The Other Place is a seperate reality paved with meandering pathways that confuse, delight, disrupt and contain valuable knowledge unknown to us. The beings that wander these paths collecting answers to questions of life and the spirit are Wayfarers. These figurines are usually larger, with full poses, long dresses, surrounded in adornments that symbolise what they receive on their own personal wandering scholarships. Beautiful and elegant, sometimes lofty, they are often a part of exhibitions with larger allegorical themes, but hold their own personality which resonates past the larger picture. Often, wayfarers that Clairy depicts show parallels to lessons and journeys the artist herself has learned or walked, and to those who feel that reflected, they often speak volumes more than their silent form suggest at first.
